The Fencing Crew requires a signed service agreement (contract) and a 15% deposit before any work begins. No exceptions will be made. Remaining balances are due immediately upon completion of installation. You or your representative must be present and available to pay your final balance on the last day of your project. Any outstanding balances will be charged interest at a rate of 35% annually and calculated DAILY.
All utility locates are handled by The Fencing Crew. Private locates including irrigation lines are the customers responsibility.
Customer is responsible for marking all property lines. Property pins or stakes must be present before construction begins.
All dates and times stated in any agreement are subject to change due to inclement weather conditions. Date changes are at the sole discretion of The Fencing Crew.
The Fencing Crew guarantees that all products shall be supplied with normal tolerances, variations and limitations and that all service work shall be completed in a good and workman like manner, as is familiar within the fence industry. The Fencing Crew does not carry any warranty on any materials including hardware.
The Fencing Crew is a zero tolerance company. Our employees have the same workplace rights as other organizations even though our office is in your backyard. Please be kind and respectful. Any forms of abuse, discrimination or harassment against any Fencing Crew employee will result in cancellation of your contract and loss of deposit.
The Fencing Crew chooses the finest lumber and hardware available to be used on all of our projects but will not be responsible for any defects that occur after the completion of your project including drying of lumber, twisting, cracking, warping, rotting, flaking, peeling etc.
When the contract states that a fence is to "step to grade", any additional request made by the customer to use longer boards to fill gaps at bottom of fence will result in extra charges. All additional charges are at the sole discretion of The Fencing Crew.
The Fencing Crew is not responsible to move any furniture, bbq, pergola, sheds, bikes, boats, trailers, stones, plants, trees, toys etc. It is the customers responsibility to make sure the work site is safe and clear of any obstructions before and during construction.
The Fencing Crew warranty only extends to normal and intended uses and specifically does not include piling of snow, earth or other materials either on or against the product, spraying chemicals or water on the product, damage caused by placing plant life, or other foreign materials in contact with the product or accidental damage, negligence or other acts of God.
