Can you dig it?
For the DIYers and weekend warriors out there who aren't afraid to break out their tools and tackle a fence installation yourself - we salute you! The most difficult step is digging holes deep enough and setting posts correctly. While constructing your own wooden fence is a great way to save money, the team at The Fencing Crew has the equipment and experience to start your project off on the right foot.

We supply 10 foot long pressure treated posts and concrete.
4x4 posts - Dig and set in 10" hole x 42" deep - $120 per post
6x6 posts - Dig and set in 12" hole x 42" deep - $150 per post

Dig only
10" or 12" hole x 42" deep - $50 each

Removing existing or previously buried posts and concrete - $200/post

Minimum charge of $200
Travel charges will be applied in areas outside of the city of Barrie.

Hand digging post holes is NOT available. If there is no access for a skid steer digging machine we will not proceed. Very difficult circumstances including holes that need to be dug very close to large trees, holes where we encounter large rocks and holes that need to be dug in very hard clay or gravel will be subject to additional charges. The Fencing Crew will not dig anywhere without current and valid locates from OneCall. All hole locations must be clearly marked with ground marking paint before we arrive. Removal of excess dirt is not included with post hole digging services.
